I began something I didn't know would be such a profound love for photojournalism around age six and began to slowly see it take shape through my experiences in high school and eventually at the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication.

As I grow to understand storytelling more and more through this medium, I cannot help but love it more for the places it takes me, the people I meet and the experiences it brings me to.

I am originally from Portland, Oregon, but am currently working in Davenport, Iowa after moving to the state in 2016 to document the Iowa Caucus.

Perhaps my favorite part of the career is being able to put myself where I may not necessarily belong to observe, learn and document.

When I am not collecting photos or video, I hope to be outdoors, snowboarding, hiking, camping or working on a project at home.

Let's chat.
